Gluten Free Granola

I find making my own granola easy and kids friendly. It also allows me to keep my grocery bills and unwanted sugar intake to a minimum.

This is my basic recipe and i add extras as per kids requests or seasons.

In a large bowl:

3 Cups Gluten Free Oats

**11/2 Cups Sliced Almonds ( I also like to add some sunflower seeds)

11/2 Cups Unsweetened Shredded Coconut

1/2 Cup Maple Syrup or Honey

1/4 Cup Egg Whites

1 Tsp Cinnamon

2 Tsp Nutmeg

1 Tsp Vanilla

**1/4 Cup melted Coconut Oil

*If you have GP i would not recommend the Nuts or Coconut oil.

Mix all ingredients until well combined with a spoon then spread onto a baking sheet. Bake for 30 Minutes @300 then toss and turn and bake another 20 minutes until well toasted. Let cool and store in aire tight container.
