Pumpkin Spice Granola

Pumpkin Spice Granola
Making homemade granola is the easiest and most kid friendly activity. We are always changing our flavors, ingredients and methods. This is the second time I have made my pumpkin spice recipe and it has been a huge hit. The kids eat it for breakfast as well as a snack without milk.
All you need is some pumpkin spice, which I get ¬†from Trader Joe’s, a big bowl, spatula, one glass measuring cup and a baking sheet.

Grease your baking sheet with coconut oil and pre heat oven to 325
In a large Bowl combine:

4 cups gluten free oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup sunflower seeds
2 teaspoon pumpkin spice – Trader Joe’s brand
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup maple syrup

Stir well to combine.
Spread evenly onto the greased baking sheet and bake for about 50 minutes tossing it EVERY 15 minutes- I wait until it is dry, golden and the corners are crispy. Allow to cool completely before storing it in an airtight container!
